He was predeceased by: his wife Rosie Ivany (Hann); his parents, Allan Ivany and Lucy Blanchard; his stepfather George Blanchard; his parents-in-law, Herbert and Ellen Hann; his siblings, Barbara Spracklin (Les), Muriel Gillam (Ira), Ray, Bill, Allan, Boyd (Blanch) and Fred (Alma); and his siblings-in-law, Dora Vincent (Louis), Una Lewis (Wallace Lewis), Hazel, June Wheeler (Hollis), Harvey Hann (Bessie), Jordy Hann (Vera) and Herbert Hann (Junior).
He is survived by: his children, Juanita White (Arch), Donald Jr. Ivany (Maureen), Monica Ivany (David Boone), Deborah Ivany (Clay Walbrook) and Boyd Ivany (Debbie White); his grandchildren, Cheryl Kormos (Brian), Ian White, Nicole Ivany, Erin Ivany, Mandy English (Andrew), Scott Gillis (Amanda), BrookLynn Ivany Walbrook, Daniel Ivany and Justin Ivany; his great grandchildren, Megan, Lauren Kormos, Alexa English, Jaxon, Jayla and Jace Gillis; his son-in-law John Gillis; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Ivany, Mary Hann, Ivor Hann, Ernie Hann, Woody Hann (Carol) and Tex Wheeler (Joy Brake).
As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Society NL, Autism Society of Newfoundland, the Ronald McDonald House, the Janeway (or Cancer Society), or a charity of one's choice.
