He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Hicks and Beatrice Hicks; his siblings, Bill, Reginald and Marion Henshaw; his grandson Aiden Hicks; his parents-in-law, Clan and Helen House; and his siblings-in-law, Rendell House, Jeffrey House, Jim Loughlin, Douglas Jenkins, Doris Hicks and Amy House.
He is survived by: his wife Marion; his children, Darren (Cecilia), Terralynn and Sheldon (Darlene); his grandchildren, Megan (Zak), Christian (Kelly), Matthew (Vanessa), Nicholas, Christopher and Kaitlyn; his siblings, Florence Loughlin, Dianne Jenkins Frampton (Fred) and Tony (Colleen); and his siblings-in-law, Sandy House, Cameron House (Alma), Warren House (Elaine), Christine Greene (Bill), Pam Coish (Dwayne), Regina House and Darlene Critchly. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fillatre's Funeral Home (4 St Marks Ave, Corner Brook, NL A2H 7H7). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fillatre's Funeral Chapel (4 St Marks Ave, Corner Brook, NL A2H 7H7).
