It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Joseph Cammie (Corner Brook, Newfoundland), who passed away on December 30, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bridget Camus and Frederick Camus (Cammie); his sister Mary; and his brothers-in-law, Albert Hynes and Ken Companion.
He is survived by: his children, Diane (Marc), Donna (Russ), John and Jeff; the mother of his children Leverne Cammie; his grandchildren, Danielle, Morgan, Luke, Matthew, Alissa-Rae, Lindsay-Ann, Cammie-Lee, Mitchell and Jenna; and his sisters, Isabelle, Maureen McCarthy (Don) and Delores Allen (Stan Vincent SR.). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fillatre Funeral Home (218 Curling St, Corner Brook, NL A2H3J4).
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
