He was predeceased by: his wife Rose (Hynes); and his siblings, Laura Jean Douglas, Vyella Parsons, Geraldine White, Barbara Osborne, Madeline Gordon, Gertie LeRiche, Marjorie MacDonald, Lindsey Short, Earl Short and John Charles Short.
He is survived by: his children, Darryl (Cindy) and Carla Porter (Danny); his grandchildren, Justin Short (Claire), Jeremy Short (Audrina), Sarah Fellingham (Danny), Allan Porter (Jessica) and Kristina Tulk (Fred); his great grandchildren, Keagan Short, Erik Tulk and Evelyn Tulk; his brother Robert Short; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Companion (Ed) and Ray Hynes (Marion). He is also survived by other relatives, and many friends, as well as his special friends.
As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Clayton's memory to the St. Michael's and All Angels Anglican Church.
