He was predeceased by: his father Prescott Anderson; his sister Mary Anderson; his parents-in-law, George and Beatrice Boone; and his sister-in-law Debbie Herritt.

He is survived by: his wife Bernice; his child Shandi-Rae Anderson (Ryan); his grandchildren, Adaliah, Gunner, Jaxon and Nixon; his mother Jessie Anderson; his brother Darryl Anderson (Angela); and his brother-in-law Bob Boone (Anita). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and good friends.
