It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Caroline Maynard of Corner Brook, Newfoundland, who passed away on April 13, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Rodney; her parents, Albin Mahar and Annie Mahar; her siblings, Grace, Lloyd and Lorne; and her son-in-law Denny.

She is survived by: her husband Benjamin; her children, Brian, David, Robert (Claudine), Carla (Randy) and Janet (Randy); her grandchildren, Krista, Benjamin, Robert, Andrew, Megan and Camile; her great grandchildren, Nathan and Casey; her siblings, Sylvia Smith, Bill Gould (Denise) and Ray Mahar (Jamie); her close friend Anne Benoit; and also Jackie Kennedy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations in memory of Carrie Maynard can be made to The Janeway Foundation.
