She was predeceased by: her parents, Arch Patey and Emmy Patey; her children, Diane, Jerry and Robbie Jr.; and her siblings, Lorraine, Effie and Austin.

She is survived by: her significant other Richard Pilon; her children, Christina and Darren (Veronique); her siblings, Chris (Joan) and Donna; and her aunt Shirley Sullivan. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Carol's memory to a charity of one's choice.
