He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Kennedy; his parents, Eli Kennedy and Francis Kennedy; his brother Roddy Kennedy; his parents-in-law, Pearce and Ida Blackwood; his siblings-in-law, Eleazor Blackwood, Doug Clarke, Lem Gillingham, Lee White, Maisie Blackwood and Mary White; and his nephew Craig Kennedy.

He is survived by: his children, Joanne and Jerry (Karen); his grandchild Johnathon (Sabrina); his great grandchildren, Alexander and Dominique; his sister Edna Clarke; and his siblings-in-law, Robbie Blackwood (Edna), Harold Blackwood, Eugene Blackwood (Melvina), Verna Kennedy and Ruby Sturge. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
