We are sad to announce that on September 23, 2023, at the age of 91, Barbara Downey (Corner Brook, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Anthony Downey; her parents, Hezekiah Randell and Gwendolyn; her stepmother Gladys; and her siblings, Rita, Clarice Clarke (Hubert), Dorothy Pittman, Fred (Pauline), Calvin (Isabelle) and Ronald.
She is survived by: her children, Maureen Barry (Gary Perry), Bernard (Anne), Patsy Sutton (Don), Paula (Dave Bradley), James (Michelle), Elizabeth Doody (Derek) and Robert (Leonard Rose); her siblings, John (Ina) and Elizabeth Snow (Wilson); her nephew Melvin Randell (Carol); and her brother-in-law Bud Pittman. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to express their condolences by making a donation in her memory to the charity of their choice.
