He was predeceased by: his former wife Eva; his parents, Marian Reader and Wallace Reader; and his brothers, Jim, Byron, Bill and Gordon.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, David (Lisa) and Lynn (Richard); his grandchildren, Jeremy and Courtney; and his stepchildren, Cathy (Frank) and Mark. He is also survived by his in-laws, other relatives, and many friends.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Mount Patricia Cemetery North Shore (42 N Shore Hwy, Corner Brook, NL A2H6G1).
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Auburn's memory to the Western Regional Hospital Foundation, or a charity of one's choice.
