He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Pye of Cape St and Viola Pye of Cape St; his brother John Pye; his niece Tammy Bursey; his parents-in-law, Kevin and Doris Jones; his nephew Kevin; and his niece Mary Fay.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine; his children, Dion (Neilly), Jordan (Chloe) and Jeremy (Sarah); and his siblings, Malcolm (Verna) of Lodge Bay, NL, Hazel (Heber) of Corner Brook, NL, Christopher (Rita) of Mount Moriah, NL, Philip (Judy) of St. Lewis, Labrador, Laura (Stewart) of Lodge Bay, NL, Joy Greene (Ron), Dorothy Jones and Dawn Ayres (Joe Jones). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a memorial donation to either the Canadian Cancer Society or the Palliative Care Unit, Western Long Term, Corner Brook, NL.
