Alice Marie Mercer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2023, at the age of 75, Alice Marie Mercer of Corner Brook, Newfoundland passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alice Marie Mercer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Mercer and James Mercer of Corner Brook, Newfoundland; and her siblings, Helen LaBonte of Brampton, Ontario and Jack Mercer of Port Hawkesbury. She is survived by: her siblings, Raymond, Eileen Mercer of Calgary, Alberta and Margaret Goosney of Medstead, Saskatchewan. She is also survived by numerous extended family, nieces and nephews.
She sponsored a young Mexican girl of one of those families to complete her nursing diploma. And for many years, Alice supported many charities particularly the Breast Cancer Foundation and wore the pink ribbon in memory of her older sister, Helen.
