Alberta Gladys Caines Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alberta Gladys Caines (Corner Brook, Newfoundland), who passed away on December 19, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Lush and Rebecca Cross; her stepfather Norman Moss; her parents-in-law, John Thomas Caines and Alice Caines; her children, Tommy, John and Joan; her brothers, Sam, Norm and Glen; and her children-in-law, Calvin, Joslyn and Peggy.
She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Randy (Ruth), Wayne (Karen), Jim (Laura), Kevin (Brenda), Jocelyn (Kevin), Debbie (John), Dianne (Douglas) and Annette; and her siblings, Jim, Delores, Maxine, Jane and Beryl. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and a large circle of extended family and friends.
In light of Holly's love for animals, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations are made in her memory to the NL West SPCA ([email protected]).
