She was predeceased by: her husband John Stride; her children, Mary Stride and Jeffery Stride; her parents, John Joe Drew and Mary Anna Drew; and her siblings, Thomas, Wilfred, James, Gordon Drew, Mary Drake and Emily Benoit.

She is survived by: her children, Delores Hinks (Levi), Melita Howse (Lionel), Tina Benoit (Barry), Maisie Hiscock (Wayne) and Joe Stride (Teresa); and her siblings, George Drew (Pricilla), Larry Drew (Rita), Daisy Joe (Andy), Collie Benoit (Gilies) and Florence Tremblay (Yvon).
