He was predeceased by: his mother-in-law Aggie Benoit; and his nephew Alex Noggasak. He is survived by: his wife Andrea; his children, Jessie Merkuratsuk (Dylan) and Matthew Merkuratsuk of Conne River, NL; his grandchildren, Kaylee and Titan; his sisters, Hulda (Alex Noggasak), Augusta Kautjasiak and Lillian Jararuse (Levi Semigak); his parents, Margaret Jararuse and Thomas Tuglavina; his brothers-in-law, Tim Benoit (Vanessa), Lionel Benoit (Trudy) and Barry Benoit (Kelsey); and his father-in-law Daniel Benoit of Conne River, NL. He is also survived by other nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives & friends.
