We are sad to announce that on February 23, 2025, Wayne Hunt (Conception Bay South, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Wayne may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Peggy; and his children, Jennifer (Derek), Jessica (Shane), John (Laurie), Jody (Billie Gene) and Jeff. He was also cherished by grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hickey's Funeral Home (570 Conception Bay Hwy, Conception Bay South, NL A1X 7P8). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at the Hickey's Memorial Chapel.
