He was predeceased by : his son Shawn; his parents, Mable and Thomas; and his siblings, Dave, Rob and June.

He is survived by : his children, Annette (Paul) and Barry (Stella); and the mother of his children Peggy. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Hickey's Funeral Home (570 Conception Bay Hwy, Conception Bay South, NL A1X 7P8). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hickey's Memorial Chapel.
