He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine; his parents, Thomas Ryan and Madeline Ryan; and his parents-in-law, Charles and Doris Greenslade.

He is survived by: his sons, Tom Jr. (Lori) and Stephen (Kelly); his grandchildren, Thomas, Kisha, Tyrone, Madison, Mackenzie and Abigail; and his sister Bertha Noseworthy (Andrew Dawe). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
