She was predeceased by: her parents, Obadiah Burt and Violet Burt; her husband Edgar Saunders; her children, Wallace (Shelley), Serena (Lloyd), Nena and David (Mallory); her grandchildren, Austin (Laura), Haley, Dylan, Claudia, Leo and Serena; and her siblings, Raymond (Phyllis), Rosalind (Carl), Lester (Zeny), Winston (Michelle), Monica (Chris) and Adam (Renna).

She is survived by: her caregiver Jeannette; and her pet Willie.
