He was predeceased by: his parents, Ada Dawe and Albert Dawe; and his brothers-in-law, Charles Mercer, Richard Wheaton and Wayne Earle.
He is survived by: his sons, Karl (Kathy Mihill), Christopher (Tiffanie) and Matthew (Alexandra); his grandchildren, Arden, Kipling, Alice and Lincoln; and his siblings, Audrey Mercer, Judith Wheaton, Randell Dawe (Deborah), Amy Earle and Barbara Wheaton (Keith Kennedy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre or to a charity of one's choice.
