He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Rideout and William Rideout; and his brother William Rideout. He is survived by: his wife Myra Rideout; his sons, Paul Porter (Rochelle), Dennis Porter (Connie) and Collins Porter (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Rochelle (Justin), Velvet (Nathan), Anita, Katherine, William and Nathan; and his siblings, Martha Butler, Jean Boggan (Tom), Rachel Petten (Louis), Ella Abbott (Cyril), Louise Lear, Marjorie Gorman (Don), Arthur Rideout (Rita), Andrew Rideout (Genevieve) and Riley.
According to COVID restrictions, visitation will be in Hickey's Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Saturday July 31, 2021 from 2 PM – 6 PM.
Donations in Leonard's memory may be made to All Saints Anglican Church.
