Jim Weir Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 2, 2024, Jim Weir (Conception Bay South, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine; his son Dennis; his parents, Hubert and Beatrice; his brother Winston; and his brother-in-law Stewart Rideout.

He is survived by: his sons, Jim Jr. (Karen) and Bill (Deann); his daughter-in-law Sharon; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Kyle), Jason, Jessica Joshua (Morgan), Janelle (Matthew), Jeannie (Josh) and Johnathan; his great grandchildren, Jemma, Kendall, Kennedy, Jayde, Jaylah, Jillian and Jaxon; his sisters, Edith and Barb (Robert); and his siblings-in-law, Colin (Cora) and Ruby Cox.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hickey's Funeral Home (570 Conception Bay Hwy, Conception Bay South, NL A1X 7P8). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the All Saints Anglican Church (419 Conception Bay Hwy, Conception Bay South, NL A1X7A2).
