In the vast expanse of eternity, Jessie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jessie farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Mericks; and her brother Samuel (Ack). She is survived by: her sons, Wayne (Stella), Gerard (Grace), Melvin (Suzann) and David (Sheila). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hickey's Funeral Home (570 Conception Bay Hwy, Conception Bay South, NL A1X 7P8). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Topsail United Church (2426 Topsail Rd, Conception Bay South, NL A1W2K1).
