He was predeceased by: his parents, Ella Crosbie and Percy Crosbie; and his son Fred. He is survived by: his wife Tessa (Hutton); his sons, Basil (Andrea Powell) and Philip; his grandchildren, Ella and Matthew; his brother Colin (Florence); his niece Tracey; his nephew Christopher; and also Hutton.
