It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Haines (Conception Bay South, Newfoundland), who passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Haines and Annie Haines; his siblings, Elizabeth Diamond (Bill), Billy, Frank, Jim (Bernice), Alfred and Graham; his siblings-in-law, Edgar Peach, Ern Fagan and Margaret Haines; his parents-in-law, John and Kathleen Hynes; and his siblings-in-law, Bernard, Tom and Rose.
He is survived by: his wife Margie; his daughters, Cathy Martin (Richard) and Vicki Young (Monroe); his grandchildren, Will, Alex, Grace, Jack and Eric; his siblings, Reg (Mary), Leslie, Ted, Phyllis Warford (Charlie), Marguerite DeGruchy (Edwin), Marion Kennedy (Eldred), Ruby Fagan, Linda Peach and Marilyn Hale (Jim); and his siblings-in-law, Marion, Jeanette, Yvonne Haines, Betty White (Ches), Mary Wall (Leo), Marilyn Hynes (Claude) and Jerry Hynes (Helen). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family.
