Herbert Haines Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Haines (Conception Bay South, Newfoundland), who passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Haines and Annie Haines; his siblings, Elizabeth Diamond (Bill), Billy, Frank, Jim (Bernice), Alfred and Graham; his siblings-in-law, Edgar Peach, Ern Fagan and Margaret Haines; his parents-in-law, John and Kathleen Hynes; and his siblings-in-law, Bernard, Tom and Rose.
He is survived by: his wife Margie; his daughters, Cathy Martin (Richard) and Vicki Young (Monroe); his grandchildren, Will, Alex, Grace, Jack and Eric; his siblings, Reg (Mary), Leslie, Ted, Phyllis Warford (Charlie), Marguerite DeGruchy (Edwin), Marion Kennedy (Eldred), Ruby Fagan, Linda Peach and Marilyn Hale (Jim); and his siblings-in-law, Marion, Jeanette, Yvonne Haines, Betty White (Ches), Mary Wall (Leo), Marilyn Hynes (Claude) and Jerry Hynes (Helen). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hickey's Funeral Home (570 Conception Bay Hwy, Conception Bay South, NL A1X 7P8). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the All Saints Anglican Church (419 Conception Bay Hwy, Conception Bay South, NL A1X7A2).
