In the vast expanse of eternity, Florence shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Florence farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by : her husband Leslie; her close friends, Sylvia Upshall (Terry), Sandra Petten (Tony), Lorraine Smith (Jeff), Diana Upshall (George) and Beverly (Calvin); and her son Jim (Mona).

She is survived by : her nephew Derrick (Donna). She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 10th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hickey's Funeral Home (570 Conception Bay Hwy, Conception Bay South, NL A1X 7P8). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hickey's Memorial Chapel.
