She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Parrell and Edith Parrell; and the father of her children Walter Chafe. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia [Mike] Southall of Kentville, NS, Christina [Mark] Lynch and Walter Chafe (Pam) of Chaplin, SK.; her siblings, Jean Parrell, Lorraine Lloyd and Brenda Marshall; her grandchildren, Ryan Ernst, Meghan Ross, Matthew Southall, Thomas Southall, Samantha Davis, Daniel Southall, Morgan Lynch and Shane Lynch; and her great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Emily, Bella and Noah.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hickey's Funeral Home (570 Conception Bay Hwy, Conception Bay South, NL A1X 7P8). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hickey's Memorial Chapel.
