We are sad to announce that on October 18, 2024, at the age of 82, Eleanor Stokes (Conception Bay South, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her sisters, Hilda Mercer (late Graham), Rosemary (Roger Richards), Darlene (Ivan Dawe) and Juanita Somerton (Barry); her siblings-in-law, Anne Parsons (late Charlie), Geraldine Spragg (late Bill) and Lorenzo Stokes (Bernice); her nieces and nephews, Vicki Morris, Renee Zwirz (Tom), Scott Mercer, Deena Fagan (Adam), Dawn Hamlyn (Jason), Darren Richards (Nick), Melanie Dawe (Steve), Melissa Dawe (Colin) and Mandy Dawe (Peter); and her pet Milo.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hickey's Funeral Home (570 Conception Bay Hwy, Conception Bay South, NL A1X 7P8). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 21st 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Topsail United Church (2426 Topsail Rd, Conception Bay South, NL A1W2K1). A burial will be held on Monday, October 21st 2024 at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Topsail United Church.
