She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip and Marie (Arthur); and her siblings, Sydney (Marian) and Alice Long (Phil). She is survived by: her children, David (Leslie) of Chemainus, BC, Elaine Porter (Reuben), Denise Cumbie (Ian) and Brian (Tracy) of Surrey, BC; her grandchildren, Philip (Kristen), Steven Porter, Duncan (Hannah), Emily Blagdon (Riley Ellis), Olivia, Caroline, Maeve Cumbie, Sophia and Matthew Blagdon; her great grandchildren, Graham and Caleb Porter; and her siblings, Lila May (Lloyd), Winnie Pope (Hiram) and Ches (Regina).
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hickey's Funeral Home (570 Conception Bay Hwy, Conception Bay South, NL A1X 7P8). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Anglican Church (1219 Conception Bay Hwy, Conception Bay South, NL A1X4E2).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson Society of Newfoundland and Labrador or St. Peter's Anglican Church, Upper Gullies.
