He was predeceased by: his father Michael Sweeney. He is survived by: his wife Edith (McEvoy); his son Brad (Faye); his grandsons, Craig (Danielle) and Dax; his siblings, Rosemary (Gerald), Ernie (Joyce), Terry (Irene), David (Maxine), Darlene (Dave), Danny (Enobong), Mike (Peggy), Jacinta (Tom) and Emmett; his siblings-in-law, Walter (Virgie), Joe (Marg), Austin, Gerald (Sharon), Pete (Gen), Ed (Brenda), Mary (Jimmy), Jeannie Bon McEvoy (Keith) and Shirley (McEvoy); and also Mary Sweeney. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
According to COVID restrictions, a private visitation will be in Hickey's Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Monday, January 24th, 2022 from 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM. by invitation only.
