She was predeceased by : her husband Jim Noseworthy; and her parents, Thomas Ryan and Madeline Ryan. She is survived by : her niece Sharon Kennedy (Clayton); her friend Andrew Dawe; her sisters-in-law, Barbara Butt and Bonnie Butler; her close friends, Sarah Porter and Gladys Dollimont; and also Maxine. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 10th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hickey's Funeral Home (570 Conception Bay Hwy, Conception Bay South, NL A1X 7P8). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, June 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas of Villa Nova Church (2694 Topsail Rd, Conception Bay South, NL A1W4L5).

In Bertha's memory flowers are greatly accepted or donations can be made to a children's charity of one's choice.
