He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Smith and Clara Smith; and his siblings, Margaret, Arline and Bill.
He is survived by: his children, Reg of Abbotsford, B. C. and Trudy of St. John's; and the mother of his children Zita. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
