She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Samantha McMullin; her son-in-law Glenn; her granddaughter Rebecca; her nephew Will Canning; her close friend Gerald Abbott; her parents, James Canning and Jean Canning; her siblings, Betty, Mary, Kenneth and Archibald; her siblings-in-law, Peggy Ruby, Bob Matchim, Bob Farrell and Gary Wheeler; her pet Holly; her siblings, Joan and Ken; her cousin Trudy Lilly (Patricia Jefford); and also, Ken Wheeler, Peggy Ruby and Barb Farrell. She was also cherished by her parents, siblings, grandparents and extended family.

Sadly only a few years later Mom once again faced difficult times as Gerry was struck ill and she did her very best to love and care for him while also being struck down herself with Parkinson's.
