She was predeceased by: her husband John "Jack" Patrick Downey; her parents, Lawrence Philpott and Mary Philpott; her parents-in-law, Francis and Margaret Downey; and her siblings-in-law, Annie Carrigan (Jim), Joseph Pecci, Mary Fitzgerald (Francis), William Walsh, Francis Quinlan, Leslie Traverse, Jay Taylor and Gerald Downey (Kathleen Connolly).
She is survived by: her children, Glenn Downey (Deidre) of Fraser Lake, BC and Deanna Downey (Geraldie Barrett) of Fraser Lake, BC; her grandchildren, Devon Downey, Dylan Downey, Cohen Barrett, Bella Barrett and Sarah Barrett; her great grandchild Teegan Downey; her siblings, Rita Quinlan, Violet Traverse, Florence Taylor, Faustina Philpott, Linda Dube (John), Samuel Philpott (Joyce Jones), Annie Walsh (Ronald), Edward Philpott (Stella Sacrey) and Raymond Philpott (Robert Cohen); and her sisters-in-law, Gertrude Pecci, Margaret Walsh and Kathleen Philpott (James).
