He was predeceased by: his son Kenneth Breen; his parents, James Breen and Mary Breen; his parents-in-law, Abraham and Bride Walsh; his siblings, Raymond Breen, William Breen (Mary) and Lawrence Breen; and his siblings-in-law, Douglas Walsh, Catherine Walsh, Louise Walsh, Abraham Walsh, Madeline Drover, Lawrence Walsh, Patrick Walsh (Minnie) and Daniel Hoven.

He is survived by: his daughters, Joan Breen of Baie Verte, NL and Tracey Clarke (Stephen); his grandchildren, Curtis Clarke, Stephanie Clarke (Pascal) and Max; his siblings, Martin Breen Sr. (Mildred), Ellen Matthews, Theresa Kennedy (Nicholas) and Betty England (Stu); and his siblings-in-law, Joseph Walsh, Phyllis Hoven, Alice Walsh (Jim), Alphonsus Walsh (Rose), Gerry Walsh (Linda), Margaret Breen, Kathleen Walsh, Gertrude Walsh, Michael Drover and Mary Walsh. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Leonard's memory to Copper Crescent Long Term Care Facility, Baie Verte, NL.
