He was predeceased by: his parents, James McCabe and Jane McCabe; and his siblings, Patrick (Marie), Leonard (Helen), Bridget (John), Elizabeth (Lawrence), Helen (Gordon), Frances (Mike), Eileen (Eugene) and Molly (James).

He is survived by: his wife Alice McCabe; his children, John McCabe (Mary Kennedy), Barb McCabe (John Taylor) and Lilly Pike (Bill); his grandchildren, Stacey (Adam), Amanda (Andrew), Curtis, Christine (Chris), Stephanie (Allan), Jeffrey (Ashley) and Brittany; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Rachel, Anna, Lexi, Mason, Mackenzie, Connor, Elijah and Isaac.

In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Jack McCabe Memorial Fund.
