She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Bursey and Elsie Bursey; her sister Betty Pretty (Bursey); her siblings-in-law, Harry Pretty and Faye Bursey; and her foster daughter Tara Kelly Dicks.

She is survived by: her husband Chris; her son Chad Dicks (Norma); her grandsons, Cameron and Damien; her stepchildren, Josh and Jessica; her parents-in-law, Bill and Janet Elliott; her siblings, Gord (Joyce), Merv, Ira (Mary), Dennis (Martha), Lloyd (Joyce), Gower (Debbie), Roger and Loretta; and her close friend Lin Burt. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles.

Donations in her memory are greatly accepted for the Salvation Army Citadel, Clarenville.
