It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Effie Elizabeth Penney (Clarenville, Newfoundland), who passed away on January 14, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Willis; her parents, Arthur Short and Elizabeth Short; and her sister Karen Blundon. She is survived by: her children, Glenice, Arleen (Todd), Randy (Stella), Jeff and Greg (Lynnette); her grandchildren, Ashley (Robert), Cassandra (Cory), Jordan, Morgan, Hayley, Jacob, Rebecca, Isaiah, Parker, Preston, Taylor and Blair; and her siblings, Donna (Dave), Viola and Eric (Marty).

In her memory donations may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation.
