William Charles Kendell Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Charles Kendell (Channel-Port-aux-Basques, Newfoundland), born in Cape Ray, Newfoundland, who passed away on January 16, 2022 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Louis and Lenora Kendell; his siblings, Edward Kendall (Rosena), David Kendall (Edna), Andrew Kendall, Basil Kendall, Florence Shears and Jean Donaldson Joan (Ivan); his nephews, Clifford Kendall and Llewellyn Lomond; his niece Alice Collier; his great-nephew Christopher Shears; and his great-niece Tracey Hilliard.

He is survived by: his common-law partner Barbara Samms; his children, Trudy Hilliard (Jason) of St. David's, NL, Curtis Samms (Natasha) of Codroy, NL and Chad Samms (Bethany) of Codroy, NL; his grandchildren, Nathan (Meagan), Jordan, Carly, Casey and Jackson; his brother James Kendall (Leona); and his siblings-in-law, Audrey Kendall, Helen Kendall (Nellie) and Ronnie Musseau of Port. He is also survived by nieces, nephews extended family and friends.
