He was predeceased by: his parent Simeon Sr.; his brother John Barter; his parent-in-law Harry; and his brothers-in-law, Henry Morgan, Henry Dominie, Fred Banks and James Coley.
He is survived by: his wife Maisie; his children, Kathy Organ (Paul) of Port, David Barter (Janice Enwood) of Port and Tracey Barter (Mark McKinnon) of Ontario; his granddaughters, Taylor Barter and Sarah Organ; his great grandchild Mia Stiers; his siblings, Effie Dominie, Elizabeth Morgan, Ada Palmer (Malcolm), Frances Coley and George Barter; his uncle Edgar Pink (Florence); and his siblings-in-law, Ida Keeping (Nathan), Ivan Baggs (Diane), Leah Harvey (Derek) and Audrey Barter.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. James Anglican Church Memorial fund.
