With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Philip Seaward (Channel-Port-aux-Basques, Newfoundland), who passed away on May 22, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Seaward and Jessie Seaward; his grandson Jamie Seaward; and his brothers, Ike Seaward (Shirley), Doug Seaward, Ralph Seaward, Herbert Seaward (Margaret), Lemuel Seward, Austin and Gerald (Shirley).
He is survived by: his wife Pearl Jane; his children, Loretta Osmond (Harrison) of Port, Lorne Seaward (Basques) of Port, Wayne Seaward (Lill) of Lower Sackville, NS, Irving Seaward (Basques) of Port, Alfred Seaward (Denise) of Mount Uniacke, NS, Dave Seaward (Basques) of Port, Colleen Seaward of Lower Sackville, NS and Randy Seaward (Basques) of Port; his grandchildren, Bruce (Richard), Natasha (Dwayne), Natalie (Zack), Neil (Samantha), Nikita (Colton), Kellie (Kirk), Kerbie (Michael), Adam (Andrea), Tara (Stephen), Betty Lynn, Nickolas, Andrew, Candace (Ryan), Bradley (Erin), Kyle, Ericka, Jessika (Jon) and Jonathan (Brittany); his sisters, Joyce (Bob) and Bella; his brother-in-law Ron Musseau; and his friends, George and Geraldine Anderson. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
Due to the current public health advisory of COVID-19, there will be a private family viewing at East Haven Funeral Home.
