It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Sheaves (Channel-Port-aux-Basques, Newfoundland), who passed away on July 18, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Nelson and Miriam Catherine Edmunds; her brother Thomas William; her siblings-in-law, Douglas Sheaves (Doug), Judy Edmunds, Bertha Lushman and Ivan Bryan; and her sister Miriam.
She is survived by: her children, Tyson of Red Deer, Alberta and Miranda (Andy) of Port; her grandchildren, Beau and Brixton; her siblings, Charles Edmunds of McDougalls Gulch, Marty (Jackie) of Deer Lake, NL, Rachel DeRosa (Mike) of Calgary, Alberta and Lisa (Donnie); her siblings-in-law, Dave (Janet) of Port, Ken (Josie) of Port, Dwayne Sheaves (Roxanne) of Port, Emmanuel Kettle of Port, Jim Sheaves (Kay) of Port, Jerry Sheaves (Cathy) of North Sydney, NS, Loretta Bryan, Cynthia Thorne (Wilson) and Michelle Sheaves (Bill); and her godchildren, Charleston Ingram (Floyd) of Oromocto, NB, Robyn DeRosa of Calgary, AB and Matt Edmunds (Allison). She is also survived by her many friends, cousins, nieces and nephews.
