Margaret (Margie) LeFrense Obituary

The memory of Margaret (Margie) LeFrense (Channel-Port-aux-Basques, Newfoundland), who passed away on January 8, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Hillier and Irene Hillier of Browns Arm; her husband James; her children, Larry, William LeFrense and Gail Irene Conners; her grandson Ryan Wells; her parents-in-law, Nathan and Violet LeFrense; her brothers, Stanley Hillier and Wilfred Hillier; and her brothers-in-law, Max Porter, Domonic LeFresne (Vera), Bob Strickland (Annie), William LeFrense (Pear) and Israel LeFrense.

She is survived by: her daughters, Eileen Leamon, Valerie Clarke (Brad) and Sheila Wells (Gregory); her children-in-law, Mary LeFrense, Josephine Crewe Hill and James Conners; her grandchildren, Colin, Gavin, Samantha of Leonard, DJ and Adam; her great grandchildren, Jack, Emily, Olivia, Nathan and Joe; her siblings, Sheila Porter and Lloyd Hillier (Isabelle); and her sisters-in-law, Marjorie Hiller, Meta Hiller and Louise LeFrense. She is also survived by sister, plus a very large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Spirit Church.

Flowers are graciously accepted and donations in Margie's memory can be made to the Holy Spirit Church, or Daffodil Place.
