Margaret Celestine AuCoin Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Celestine AuCoin (Channel-Port-aux-Basques, Newfoundland), who passed away on December 17, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Croix and Stanislaus St Croix; her husband Hugh AuCoin; her siblings, Lizzie, Frank, Peter, Nicholas and Joseph; and her grandchildren, Michael Gallant, Baby Miranda AuCoin and Baby Charles Hilliard.

She is survived by: her brothers, Fintan and Gareth; her children, Larry AuCoin, Madonna Gallant (Michael), Eugene AuCoin (Julia), Joan Gallant (Alley), Frances Hilliard (Charlie), Regina Downey (Charles), Susan Pike, Stanley AuCoin (Barb), Todd AuCoin, Barry AuCoin (Mary) and Claude (Denise); and her grandchildren, Roxanne, Jamie, Bonita, Shannon, Derek, Melissa, Peter, Shelene, Jody, Sherman, Melanie, Tracy, Lydia, Douglas, Jonathon, Glen, Patrick and Brad.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St Sylvester's Church. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 6:30 PM and on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
