It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Leslie Fudge (Channel-Port-aux-Basques, Newfoundland), who passed away at the age of 97, on January 23, 2025. He was predeceased by: his wife Carol; and his siblings, Jack (Stella), Sam and Jessie (Samuel). He is survived by: his children, Edwina Bateman (Melvin) and Wade Fudge (Mary Lou); his grandson Jason Fudge; his nephew Ross Fudge (Marie); his sister-in-law June Fudge; and his brother Leo Carter. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the East Haven Funeral Home (57 Grand Bay Rd, Channel-Port aux Basques, NL A0M1C0). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St. James Anglican Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. James Anglican Church in his memory.
