Leona Harriett Marshall Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Harriett Marshall (Channel-Port-aux-Basques, Newfoundland), who passed away on December 18, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Baxter Squarey and Grace Squarey (Nee Feltham); her parents-in-law, Norman and Evangeline Marshall; her siblings, Harry Squarey (Marjorie), Alice Coole (Ron), Sadie Squarey, Florence Pollock (Tom), Roberta Billard and Ethel Cluett (Donald); and her siblings-in-law, Tommy Jeans, Bryce Joyce, Robert Jeans (Bob), Stanley Marshall and Lillian Marshall.

She is survived by: her husband John Marshall (Jack); her sons, Bruce Marshall (Mary) of Corner Brook, NL, Glenn Marshall (Roxanne) of St. John's, NL and Wayne Squarey (Kathy) of Doyles, NL; her grandchildren, Melissa Squarey (Sebastien Arseneault) of Montreal, Jonathan Marshall of Toronto, ON, Matthew Marshall of St. John's, NL, Olivia Laviolette (Mathieu) of St. John's, NL and Emily Marshall (Pookiel McCabe) of Toronto, ON; her great grandchildren, Emma Laviolette, Zoe Laviolette and Zoe Arseneault; her brother Arthur Squarey of Port; and her siblings-in-law, Ron Marshall of St. John's, NL, Robert Billard of Cooks Cove, NS, Grace Jeans (Joe) of Port, Joan Joyce of Port, Basques and Norma Phelps (Peter) of Corner Brook, NL. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
