Hilda Hayward Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 29, 2023, at the age of 84, Hilda Hayward (Channel-Port-aux-Basques, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alpheaus Hardiman and Elizabeth Hardiman; and her husband John Charles Hayward. She is survived by: her siblings, Wilemina, Margaret Bird, Bert Hayward, James Hayward (Lucy), Arthur Taylor (Emily), William Simms and Eric Ford (Harvey Howell); her children, Golda Osmond (Kevin) of Port, Margaret Anderson of Port, Charlene Hayward of Port, John Hayward (Elaine) of Port, Laura Carter (Tony) of Margaree, NL, Darlene Nightingale (Allen) of England, Rob Hayward (Cindy), Denise Gilliam (Jason) and Sonya Carroll (Deon) of Margaree, NL; her siblings, Annabelle Ford of Toronto, ON, Theresa Clarke (Dolph) of Garnish, NL, Ida Ford (Rod) of Port, Susan Eddy (Leonard) of Trinity Bay, NL, James Hardiman (Eva) of St. Catherine's and Garfield Hardiman (Colleen) of St. Catherine's; and her sisters-in-law, Lillian Howell of Port, Beatrice Duhart (Edward) of Port, Ellen Simms of Port and Marie Hayward of Port. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Flowers are graciously accepted and donations in memory of Hilda can be made to St James Anglican Church.
