He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Skeard and Ivy Skeard; his wife Eileen Skeard; his daughter Patricia Skeard; his brother Elijah Skeard (Myrtle); his parents-in-law, Herbert and Harriett White; and his sisters-in-law, Jessie Petite, Minnie Matthews and Shirley Brace.

He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Payne (Graham) of Port, Wallace Skeard (Sheila) of Port, Ivy Chaulk (Melvin) of Port and Paula White (Reg) of Port; his grandchildren, Darren, Craig, Tina, Jodie, Karen, Megan and Chloe; his great grandchildren, Destiny, Nicholas, Jordan, Cameron, Nathan, Isabella, Bailey, Mackenzie, Cole, Abby and Emily; and his son-in-law Reg. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
