He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Hatcher and Hattie Hatcher; his son Shawn; his brothers, Eric and Fred Hatcher; his parents-in-law, Charles and Jane Courtney; and his siblings-in-law, James Courtney (Meta), Philip Courtney (Charlotte), Cecil Hatcher and Emma Francis (Garfield).
He is survived by: his wife Catherine; his grandson Shawnda Hatcher (Walter Walsh); his siblings, Cecil Hatcher of Rose Blanche, Kevin Hatcher (Joyce) of Timberlea, NS, Norma Savoury (Sonny) of Port and Ruby Humphries (Robert) of Corner Brook; and his sisters-in-law, Audrey Hatcher of Rose Blanche, Loretta Hatcher of Rose Blanche and Minnie Hatcher of Burnt Islands. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
