It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Nelson Harvey (Channel-Port-aux-Basques, Newfoundland), who passed away on December 23, 2018, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Tom Harvey; and his parent-in-law John. He is survived by: his parent Rachel Harvey; his wife Pearl; his daughters, Rosalyn King (Glen) and Valda Scott (Rick); his grandchildren, Lynnette (Mark), Cassie, Lori (Andrew), Nelson and Amy; his great grandchildren, Noah and Sophie; his siblings, Harriett Ann Pink (Ken), Carolyn Seymour (Eli), Merriam Harvey Lawrence, Abbott Harvey (Karen), Tom Harvey (Vera) and Roland Harvey (Susan); his siblings-in-law, John Seymour (Judy), Gordon Seymour (Maggie), Angus MacDonald, John Carroll, Aggie Coleman, Naomi Ball, Maude Tapp, Vera Bragg, Theresa Lefrense, Elsie Billard (Wayne) and Shirley Seymour; and his friend Arch Organ. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Interment to follow at Hillside Haven Anglican Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Rd. Donations in memory of George can be made to the Holy Spirit Anglican Church.
